3D Architects was appointed in 2000 to design a low cost/ low maintenance village hall on the village green and football pitch which combined sports and spectator facilities with social activities. An initial scheme was produced, but this was substantially reduced in size in line with lottery funding restrictions. The un-built planning approved scheme has two multi-purpose halls accessed from a central foyer with kitchen and toilet facilities.
